Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Carla, from Barcelona. I’m passionate about the sea—I discovered my love for it in Australia, where I trained as a diving guide. There’s nothing like the feeling of floating underwater! I also love staying active, whether running, trekking, surfing, or going to the gym.
I’m fascinated by learning about different cultures and sharing my own. I enjoy going to the theatre, listening to live music, and discovering local life wherever I go. One of my most memorable experiences was living for three days with a local family in the mountains of Sa Pa, Vietnam—learning to cook Vietnamese food, wearing their clothes, and truly living like them.
For the next two months, I’ll be traveling around France with the goal of improving my French, and I believe the best way to do that is by living with locals. Through Couchsurfing, I hope to practice the language, share stories, and connect with people who enjoy cultural exchange as much as I do. I’m friendly, open-minded, and always happy to join in a local adventure or simply have a good conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is not just a place to sleep—it’s a way to connect, exchange cultures, and create memories. I’d love to share stories, cook together, or simply enjoy good company while practicing the language.
And everything happens for a reason.
