About Me
Very difficult to describe one self...
My friends say I'm warm, caring, with a good sense of humour!
At first, I'm a bit shy but once the contact is etablished, that's not apparent at all
I often have the head in the stars!
And I admit that sometimes i'm a bit stubborn...
I've always been interested in others cultures so I studied History and Archeology. I loved to learn about Egypt and Asia.
Eventually I've worked in the cultural area but in contemporary music and theater!
Since my parents were not travellers I started travelling at the age of 20, having holidays with friends in New York, Italy, Tunisia, Mexico, Egypt.... A few years ago, I decided to go alone as a backpacker in Australia, for 5 weeks. That was wonderful! I did it again in La Reunion. Amazing too!!!!
And a few months ago I've decided to realize a dream :
A tour in SE Asia for 1 year
So I stopped my work and began to prepare this trip!
I'm currently at Paris, saying goodbye to my friends and family!
The tour will begin in mid-december
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new on Couchsurfing and hope I'll meet a lot of wonderful people thanks to it
When I was in La Reunion for one month and in Australia for 5 weeks, I stayed most of the times in the youth hostels. Really usuful places, cheap and you could meet a lot of people.
But a lot of foreigners like me.... not locals!
The thing is : if you want to discover a culture, a country, not just museum and famous places, the best way is living as a local so... meeting locals seems to me the best and most interesting way!
So some friends talked to me about couchsurfing.com and that's it!
I'm on it and I can't wait to meet my firsts hosts!!!
