I am a photographer currently living and working in Johannesburg, South Africa

My most valued character trait is my aspiration for technical excellence, alongside my pursuit of questioning and exploring a new language of the photographic medium. I believe that a person’s creativity is only limited to the girth of her mindset; consequently, I value my relenting ability to question and deconstruct my predefined limitations and that of the society in which I have been raised. I am passionate about being actively involved in my creative process. I set myself high standards and will repeat creative processes in order to achieve those standards. 

I have a keen and ongoing interest in learning and exploring different methods of approach in my work; I am committed to the process of creativity and always curious to take it further. I don't surrender to failure and pursue my intended outcome in whichever way my project develops. I am obsessive about my work but know when it is time to pause and seek critical engagement and perhaps consider a different approach. I see myself as an avid problem solver; when an obstacle arises I am punctilious in locating a valuable solution.

I have spent five years committed to perfecting my photographic technical skill in order to assist in my intended future conceptual photographic conversations. My optimal talent lies in possessing a creative eye, and an instinctual analytical trait which skills assist me in creating compelling visual constructs.

The most amazing thing I have done would definitely be quoting my day job at an advertising firm to pursue my dream career in photography. Leaving a safe secure job for the thrill of the journey that I am passionate about.
