About Me
Hey there!
My name is Engin. I'm a Turkish guy born and raised in Duisburg, Germany. I work as a pedagogical assistant with youth people, especially refugees from African and middle-east countries.
I enjoy to be surrounded by people and learn from them about there behaviours.
I'm new here in this couch-surfing suburban cultural movement. So, I don't have any experience to have an unknown guest at home. Few years ago, I've made the first steps on surfing by a very lovely family in Romania for one week. Which was a school project.
I'm open-minded, friendly, love to share my time with my friends and my interests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I imagine it will be exciting to meet new people around the world.
Interests
Photography, music, books and travelling
Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music which injects the soul. Exciting literature especially youth-literature. Action, drama, documentary. It doesn't mind. I take care about the message in movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I've met in Istanbul a group from ten different nations. It was very exciting because the whole day became colorful and dynamic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach/show you the different post industrial sides of Duisburg. It's a colorful city with a industrial history and offers a lot of cultural happenings.
I want to learn from native people about the country they live in. Want to take great experiences and catch the moment with my camera.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a very comfortable couch which is transformed in few steps to a much more comfortable bed. I can offer fluent warm water, a big kitchen and the possibility to clean your clothing. Also I can offer you some digital entertainment for calm evenings.
