I’m Rocío Ramírez, from Spain. I studied Philosophy and Communication Studies, majoring in Film Studies, and Comparative Studies of Literature, Art and Thought. This year I'll begin my PhD research in Madrid and I have interest in narrative forms associated with the Science Fiction genre.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a little bit of everything, but almost everything of rock (I Wanna Rock). A years ago I discovered The Cat Empire, from Australia. And I love them!

Movies: I love Blade Runner, 12 Monkeys, 2001, Brazil, eXistenz, Moon, Metropolis, Gattaca, The Fly, Solaris. And I really love Porco Rosso and The Big Lebowski ^_^

Books: The list cannot never end: The Road, Starmaker, Hyperion, A Scanner Darkly, Solaris, Neuromancer... Almost everything of science fiction. I love graphic novels too, like Watchmen, V of Vendetta, Sandman, Transmetropolitan, Hellblazer, Black Hole...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I write in a magazine of literature about my favourite books. I really enjoy it.

Also, I decided to do my thesis about Science Fiction. And I do it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about everything about my studies: philosophy, cinematography, literature, arts, interculturality... And I want to learn almost everything! I really like to learn about many kinds of interesting things
