I'm a PhD student working on renewable energy systems research. Trying to help the world by looking for ways in which humankind can become less of a burden for this amazing planet.

Apart from that, I am very interested in many other things, including meeting people from different cultures, learning about life in different countries, and whenever possible, visiting those places.

In my free time I exercise, listen to music, read, meet with friends... the usual stuff, I guess.

I would really like to experience what is it living in another country every time I travel, or at least the closest thing to it, and I think that the opportunities that this community provides for that are unique.

兴趣

I love music, both listening to it and playing it myself. I played the piano when I was younger but unfortunately I haven't had access to one in recent years and I fear I might be rubbish at it by now).
I also like dancing, but I guess that comes as a default with the love for music.
I quite enjoy cooking and baking as well. I definitely cook much more often than I bake, but enjoy it just as well.
There's something very rewarding about being able to create from scratch something that can be enjoyed by you and others as well.
I'm also very fond of learning new languages. I just wish I had enough time to learn them.

*** update *** The sofa bed we had in the house has been taken away and we haven't replaced yet, so I'm afraid that the only option available at the moment is a normal couch (a two seater, unfortunately), or... there is always the floor, if you prefer. In any case, I don't have that much extra bedding, but I can provide a foam mat, some blankets, a pillow or two, and a hot shower.
