About Me

Hola! This is Íñigo (the boy) & Susana (the girl) and we just quit our jobs to travel the world.
Do you want to be part of this adventure? So keep reading:

We were born and raised in Madrid (Spain) where we have lived for the last 28 years. Now we are traveling the world starting in India and we plan to travel Asia for at least one year, then we'll move to Oceania where we'd like to travel for...maybe one more year. After that, we'll jump across Pacific Ocean to land in amazing Southamerica.

-Ok, I get it, traveling is great but...why quiting your jobs??
- So we love traveling, and one month a year is not enough for us. So we are taking a 3-years-gap to meet the world.

-Alright, but do you have any project in mind or you just plan to move from point A to point B for three years?
-Oh, did we forget to mention that we love cooking? Yeah, so we just started a food-travel blog (www.noscomemoselmundo.com, literally www.weeattheworld.com) where we'll post what we learn from the awesome cooking school the world is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we heard about this community willing to help travelers to meet locals and share experiences we thought it'd be great to be part of it.

So we'd like to meet locals in each point we make a stop to share our lifes stories, travel tips, recipes from Spain (yummy!), and why not...to become great friends.

So if you are interested in meeting us...let's do it!

Interests

Where to start?
We just mentioned we love cooking and of course eating. We prefer to spend our little budget in food (fancy restaurants or stalls with streed food) than in museums, monasteries or whatever we are supposed to spend the money on. That's what we like to call "food trips".

But not everything is food :'( we are also into photography, video filming, all kind of sports (especially extreme sports), meeting people.

You know, what most of the people like. We are not from Mars!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is not enough quitting our jobs and backpacking without a return ticket?
Want to know more awesome thing we've done? Let's meet!

Teach, Learn, Share

We would like to learn from our hosts everything they have for teaching. Especially focused on our food blog, we are looking forward to learning from the local gastronomy, to exchange recipes or anything you can offer,
We are also into learning some basic phrases from your language in exchange for spanish classes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have so much to offer to our hosts. From funny stories to spanish lessons, or we can prepare a spanish omelette. I would dare say Susana's omelette is one of the best in the world. <3
We can also help you to film a promotional video in the case you have your own business, or anything that comes to your mind.
We want to help you with our skills!
