Hello! I'm Min, grew up in Singapore and currently studying in Brisbane.

I love exploring new places, checking out pretty sceneries, quaint cafes, basically anything that is chill, calm and pretty. I am one who would travel just to see breathtaking sights and I appreciate the beauty of nature.

I found out about couchsurfing through an American traveller on my solo trip in Adelaide in 2015 so I'm relatively new to this whole concept. I've had nothing but positive experiences so far!

I am outgoing and extroverted, I like talking to people and making new friends but I am also someone who will need personal space from time to time, so I understand if you need yours too.

Would be happy to go around the area and take up recommendations from whoever's hosting me!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE traveling! I learnt about CS through an American traveller I met during a solo trip to Adelaide and upon learning more, I thought I should give CS a go. I believe CS will allow me to learn more about the local culture and create experiences that are completely different from my past travel experiences. It'll also be much more fulfilling when you have a travel buddy to show you around and give you recommendations that you may have never known about! Plus, CS means forging new friendships and taking these experiences with you forever.

I'm also quite a foodie when I travel. I love receiving recommendations on where all the good food is! I also started trekking this year and I love it! I love the beauty of nature and I love going to places with breathtaking views. I also enjoy checking out places that allow me to understand the local culture more. There's also the other side of me that likes to just take time off, head to a nice coffee place and relax for the day. I'd like a balance of adventure, fun and relaxing.

Oh, and if you have a chess board or scrabble set at home I'll be more than happy to play a game or two. I love playing chess and scrabble!

Although I'm unable to host due to my housing situation, I'd be happy to meet up with surfers and take them to my favourite coffee hangout in Brisbane. Hopefully I'll get to host some day!

I actually really like cooking. Also recently picked up baking! I'm still in the midst of experimenting with my food but I hope to be a reallyyyyyyy good cook one day.

I also like to travel a lot - which is why I'm taking on part time work!

Mustered the courage to do a solo trip which was the BEST thing I've ever done for myself. I did a 6 day trip to Adelaide and it took heaps of courage to book the plane ticket. Solo travel may not be a big deal to many but I've always had people around me when I travel so it was something I thought really long about before deciding on it. I'm so glad I did it because Adelaide is SO beautiful and I'd definitely love to return one day.

I'll be happy to share Singapore's culture with you and give you recommendations should you ever decide to travel to Singapore. It's a beautiful city with cheap and amazing food.

I am Chinese and learnt Chinese in school till I was 16. If the language interests you, I can teach you basic greetings and words in Mandarin.
