Overview
About Me
I'm a young solo traveller. I enjoy the great freedom of my gape year, which turned it gape yearS. I claim to be a minimalist and I like to only have the necessary things and things of great value to me. I'm a big fan of spontaneity!
Things I genuinely like:
- Walking in the rain
- Driving in busses. Losing track of time, staring out the window, buried in my thoughts - pretty much my thing
- Talking about everything with anybody
- Laughing my heart out
And last but not least: learning and embracing my brain! How chessy it might sound
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Not only am I trying this experiment of traveling the world for free, during my travels I've also found that the world really is filled with friendly souls and soon-to-be-friends. Couchsurfing is a fantastic media for finding some of them while saving some money.
Interests
I'm CRAZY about religion, though I'm not a religious person myself.
I like writing, especially in the early morning hours, and have done it ever since I learned to.
Listening to podcasts. Currently I'm obsessed with This American Life, TED Radio Hour and the Danish Mads & Monopolet

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS
I'm a huge fan of literature and I really enjoy a good book. A couple of weeks ago I realized that I, unfortunately, haven't read a lot of works from countries outside Europe and America, so I decided to challenge my self and read one book from each country - so far it's been really interesting!
I really love minimalistic fiction. Raymond Carver and the Danish Helle Helle being two of my all time favorites.
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini has been my favorite book ever since I read it the first time several years ago. Since then I have read it about 25 times (I almost know the first page by heart now haha)
MUSIC
I absolutely love music! Especially electro and ambient
MOVIES
I like strange movies such as Enemy and Under My Skin, but you never go wrong with a stupid horror movie either
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm as close to "always happy" as it gets!
I actually honestly like to do the dishes and I promise I'll never leave a mess behind me.
Thought sharing - let's go and figure out the meaning of life together haha
