I grew up in Compton and Paramount California (Los Angeles area). My family immigrated from Mexico in the 1980s to California where my sisters and I grew up. My parents were musicians in Mexico and continued to play Mexican music in the US. As a kid and young adult, I played with them on stage:)

I am the first in my family to attend and graduate from University and also to leave the US. The first time I went on an airplane was to live in Washington DC for a summer. Then the I became addicted to traveling and living around the world. I've lived/studied/worked in Spain, Colombia, and UK.

I am a person who never says 'no' to new adventures and love to listen to the stories that people have to share. I firmly believe that if more people honestly listened to each other's stories the world would be a better place.

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Bristol studying Education Policy and International Development.

My goal is to travel to as many countries as possible but most importantly listen to as many stories as I can and then share those stories with other people. My belief is that a person's energy will live on forever as long as their story continues to get told.

Most of all I am a musician at heart. My family are all musicians so to me that is how I communicate with people.
