My name is Mette Maja Johannessen. I'm 20 years old, and live in a small town in southern Denmark. I graduated in summer 2014, from the Danish version of a high school (stx) and the last 1,5 year I have worked full time in a bakery store, and lately I have been a substitute in a public school and a kindergarten.
I'm a very adventures person, who enjoy traveling and several countries are on my check list. Therefore, I'm going on a big "around the world" trip with my very good friend this January. In that context I will be using Couchsurfing, and hopefully meet a lot of local, interesting people who can teach me more about this amazing thing called life.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm going on a road trip in America this spring, and I want to meet locals instead of being in a lonely highway motel. I wanna know how the Americans everyday life is and have some fun and interesting conversations.

Interessi

As I wrote above, I'm very interested in traveling, furthermore I enjoy good music, almost all kinds of sport (mountain biking, running, swimming, soccer, handball etc). I'm very interested in history and religion (but i'm not a very religions person) and plan on studying religion after my big travel.

Musica, film e libri

Thanks to my boyfriend I have expanded my knowledge of music. I listen to The weekend, Beyoncé, John Mayer, Ellie Golding, Kanye west and several Danish artist. I enjoy watching classic "chick flicks" and at the moment I'm very court up in How I met your mother, keeping up with the kardashians, and a Danish crime series.
I only read book on vacation, but when I read it's usually crime books or romantic novels.
