Big fan of the oldies (70s-90s), a little bit of pop, rock and anything with a little bit of soul.
Favourite movies include the Harry Potter series, James Bond Movies, Knight and Day, Fired Up, Secretariat, Me Before You, The Holiday, Love Actually and the Shrek series. Also any movies that are horse, superhero or sports related, and a good comedy or a movie that has an unpredictable twist.
Books include the Kathy Reichs series, Jodie Picoult books, Harry Potter series, the Me Before You series, the Game of Thrones series and a good thriller or suspense type of book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I received my national (SA) colours for horse riding when I was 13 years old. I competed in Houston, Texas, USA and brought home a silver medal.
At the time I was the youngest person to make the national team.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring a new and fresh perspective on life, I have a bubbly personality once I get over my initial shyness, but I also won't talk your ears off :)
I further look forward to sharing a bit of my country's culture with hosts, but also learning about theirs and experiencing their culture and ways - you only truly grow when you are out of your comfort zone, experiencing and learning new things.
