About Me

I´m an easy-going, positive, caring and flexible person. I am simply passionate about interculturality and getting to know people from all over the world. Whenever I travel, my first thing to do on the list is discovering new places recommended by locals. The more hiking and/or biking takes to get to a cultural heritage/park/lake, the better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived in Europe for a brief period of time and I have met incredible people staying over at friends´ houses through Couchsurfing. Now as an international student, living two years abroad, it is worth trying.

Interests

Simply learning and doing new things, especially when traveling

  • traveling

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy movies based on true facts like `Imitation Game´, but also I am a fan of watching Pixar special effects and Marvel movies at the cinema : )

Books....every book that can open my mind is welcome! I have a special interest for Irish-Celtic Poetry-Spirituality. But one book that changed my way of seeing reality when I was a teenager was Fahrenheit 451.

As for music, I listen to different authors every day, depending on my mood. When I am home, I tend to listen to more international music, and when I am abroad I listen to home-country songs. If I discover any new culture, I google their folkloric music to understand them more. Here is the North of Finland, Saami indigenous people music is beautiful!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling with all my family and hiking through National Parks - Chalten Mountain and Glaciar Perito Moreno- in the South of Argentina.

Teach, Learn, Share

Latinamerican board-game to combine some monopoly skills, Spanish and geography new knowledge about the South.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having some Mate (a very traditional type of tea drink at the North of my country, Uruguay, Paraguay) and home-made dulce de leche (milk jam) together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, England, Finland, France, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Uruguay
