Overview
About Me
I am a university student, currently studying in Seoul. I am from Turkey and have lived overseas in different places since 7 years.
I am calm and respectful of personal space and privacy. I am very independent and can enjoy my own company, however would also like to share some meals and conversation at the start or end of a day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to make my travels as genuine as possible. By couchsurfing I want to meet the people who have made these cities their home and can share with me some of their favourite things about them.
Interests
Eating good foods and trying out new restaurants. Visiting galleries. Discovering new artists or designers. Taking photos. Forgetting to develop them. Walking around in a busy city. Finding cafes.
When I visit a new place, my two main priorities are visiting delicious restaurants and making every meal count, and familiarising myself with interesting neighbourhoods.

Music, Movies, and Books
Start the day with classical music, put on dancehall in the shower, get ready with hip hop, study to techno, cook to jazz or 60s. Soft spot for shitty Turkish pop songs.
For movies, I adore Xavier Dolan’s work, and mostly enjoy independent films.
Currently reading The Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa. Have enjoyed Kundera a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in the Red Sea, and with some sharks in Indonesia.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share morning coffee, meals or simply conversation together. I am independent but also adaptable.
I like listening to the things people are passionate about. Even more if I know nothing about them. I enjoy new experiences and am open to learning new things. I also like hearing about quirky customs of different cultures.
I can share travel experiences, some customs about Turkey. I can teach you any of the languages I’m fluent in, or the bits I know of those that I’m learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a great listener. Will have good conversation about practically anything. Maybe more distinctly about art, food and different cultures. And 100% of every new thing I find in the city if you would like to hear.
