About Me

Hi! My name is María Fernanda and I live in Ancud, in Chiloé Island with Matías (my boyfriend) and Richard Parcker, my cat. We have lived here for a few months, after we came from Santiago last Febraury. In our home there are a lot of books, discs and always something good to eat and cook. Currently, I work in a lot of few things, but my main goal it is to go study abroad next year. We love to eat, cook, talk interesting things about Chile and the world, watch movies and share with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfin because I love to know different people from others places of the world. Also, the best way of travel is to know their people!

Interests

I love to listen music, to dance and to know new places and people. Also, I like to learn new things, to read and talk. To eat and cook.

Music, Movies, and Books

Among my favorite groups and singers there are Arcade Fire, Bjork, Bomba Estereo, Los prisioneros.

If we talk about movies, I love Zoolander, Leon, Relatos Salvajes, The Good Father.
Up, Mulan, The life of Pi, La vita è bella, High Fidelity, and others.

And of course, we must to talk about tv shows. I love Games of Thrones, House of Cards, Breaking Bad and most recently also Damnation. Books? Crime and Punishment, La maravillosa y breve vida de Oscar Wao, El Hombre que amaba los perros.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I didn't know what to write in this part, but my friend Camila said that I should to say "to believe in something and fight for it". And even when we laught a lot that day, it is really the most amazing that i have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

To teach? We could teach some things about Chile and Chiloe Island.
To learn? I would love to practice my English. Although it's not bad, it's not the better either.
To share? What I like it more: a good talk with greats experiences and a good meal and wine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My boyfriend and I can offer a lot of hours of talk, join with a good wine and something good to eat.

Countries I’ve Visited
