Hi everyone !

I'm Charles-Antoine, 25, from France. After living for three years in Paris, I decided to take a big shift in my life and move in the Netherlands, a decision I do not regret at all !

I enjoy going to concerts and clubs, having drinks with friends (and new people, of course), laughing and travelling.

I used to have couch surfers when living in Montreal and Paris, I find it great to meet different people, discovering new cultures and ways of living !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I discovered couch surfing a few years ago when travelling in the United States and I found it great. Since then, I try to host people when I have enough room for it, and use couch surfing from time to time, but it's been a long time since I didn't use it (this is why my profile is new).

I found a job as a bartender in a cocktail bar in Amsterdam but, unfortunately, since I still live in Rotterdam and haven't find a room in Amsterdam, I need your help, folks !

As for music, I love plenty of different styles, mostly electronic music but also rock. My core style would be 80s new wave, cold wave and post-punk, techno and house, but I also enjoy DnB, jungle, reggae, hip hop and many more ...

I'm open-minded regarding music, even if I have my preferences.

As for books, I'd say mainly S-F but not really space opera (Star wars for instance), more into dystopian novels (G. Orwell, P. K. Dick, R. Bradbury ...) and many other authors like Bukowski, Fante, Camus ....

And movies, well, big fan of Coen brothers, and then I dunno, it really depends of the moment, anything that is not cheesy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Decided to move to the Netherlands in the end of the summer, just following a friend who found love in Rotterdam, juste like that ! Because you have to embrace life and not wait for it !

Made a naked photo shoot with a friend, it was fun and the result is amazing !

Before leaving Toulouse for Montreal, a few years ago, I jumped into the water naked, a way to say goodbye. I used to be a bit exhibitionist when drunk though :)

Celebrated St Patrick's Day in Boston, U.S, when I was living in Montreal.

Made a 10 min. speech for a Think Tank in Paris in front of a crowd (and live streamed) about the necessity to try sortition as a new model of democracy (like in Ancient Greece).
