I accept the fact that I'm a spiritual being having a human experience, so I live each day in the present moment welcoming all that may come my way.

I'm goofy yet serious; enjoy working hard and striving towards goals, but enjoy being lazy; I like being in nature and exploring, but don't like when bugs are indoors; I don't like writing about myself, but will share with you all that you want to know about me when we meet.

One thing to know: I've recently cut my Locs after having them for 24 years of my life! So I've been learning to love myself authentically, and letting go of any attachments I've held onto, those being the longest attachments in my life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My first time hosting was while I was in Beijing -- my roommate had the account and we hosted through her page. I enjoyed meeting people as they were on their journey of exploration and enjoyed being a source of knowledge of the new city to them. It was even more fun when we all embarked on journeys together and became closer through our shared love of living.

I hope to learn every condition of (hu)man and can only succeed in this through interaction with people themselves. CS is a means to accomplish this goal.

I love to travel, read, philosophize (I... think I made that word up); joke around, color in coloring books (or anything having to do with arts and crafts, or colors in general); I like to sing, pretend like I can freestyle, people watch, hold deep meaningful conversations, and other stuff too...

I read books -- mostly history, philosophy, spiritual books. The book series I'm currently reading is "Metu Neter" and it is a great read thus far.

I listen to ALL kinds of music and am open to listen new music as well. Right now my playlist consist of Noname, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jhene Aiko... all of that and more. But when clubbing, I like ratchet dance music, reggaeton, salsa, bump and grind music.

I love scary movies, thrillers, stuff like that. I grew up reading a lot of Stephen King and Goosbumps books, so watching them come to life is always fun. But outside of that, I love comedies and stay open to all other genres as well.

I believe that every encounter we have with another is a learning experience; learning that person and who they are, learning their culture, our differences our similarities, and learning about ourselves. Therefore I value every person I meet.

On the flip side, I feel it is important to share yourself to others also: who you are and the light that you carry. It's important to be your most genuine, authentic self so that others too, feel comfortable and encouraged to do the same.
