Overview
About Me
I'm a 25 yo Parisian girl : born and raised. I deeply care about 4 things in life : the people I love, politics, arts and leisure (travels, good food and wine, sleep). I've been spending my life learning about different things and I think I want to keep learning by teaching people anything I can. I love meeting new people, travelling across new countries, tasting new food & wine, going to the movies and, yes, again, sleeping ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because my PhD field research gets me travelling across France. Although my travels are paid by my University, I would like to make the most of this opportunity to discover the different places of my own country that I don't know yet and meet some actual people instead of going to a standardized and anonymous hotels. In exchange for that, I'd like to meet travelers in Paris, because I know how hard it can be for people to find where the warmth hides in my beautiful but shy city.
Interests
It's so cheesy to write that but I'm actually interested in people. That is why I care so much for politics, sociology, literature, cinema... I love getting to know new people, hearing about their life-experience, etc. It's not exactly an interest but I also love everything that makes life so nice : beautiful clothes and objects, good food, good wine, good music, dancing, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love any kind of music you can dance too, and I am also very fond of David Bowie, Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder, whom my parents made me discover and who changed my idea of music. When it comes to movies, I also kind of love everything except maybe movies about cars, which I really don't care about, and some girly movies that I find misogynistic and stupid (but not all of them). And books... I've studied French literature and I loved almost every book I read while studying and after, I also love Tolstoi and Dostoievsky, Jane Austen, and modern American novel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had a life-changing experience when, as a student-job, I was an "accompanist" for a blind PhD student in my university. Discovering how the world looks when you cannot see it deeply changed my perception of my city, my society, beauty, and so many other things...
In a lighter fashion, I had an amazing time this summer in Mallorca when I hiked my way down to the sea near Deia after having met a group of canyoning-lovers who showed me and my friends the quietest beach to have a picnic at. We spent the night there, looking at the sky for it was a "falling-stars night" and bathing among fluorescent fishes. It was really magical.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking, so i guess that can be a good contribution :) I also like wine and that is usually what I bring with me when I want to thank people for having me :)
