About Me
Hello y'all :)
If requesting to stay at my place, please read the section about my home since I live in a communal house!
I'm Gabo (she/they), a queer artist working in contemporary music, dance, theatre, performance art and video based in Tio'Tia: Ke (Montréal). I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
My arts practice is really at the center of my life, invading my every thought, my dreams, the way I see the world. I'm very passionate about everything I do and lead a very exciting life I would say! I am very very lucky to now be able to travel with my art work, combining my two greatest passions that are travel and creation.
I love life so much! I love meeting new people, discovering new places, new food, new adventures, new whatever. I am always transforming, discovering new aspects of myself, growing, becoming a better human.
I'll keep the rest for when we will meet :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like discovering new places from the eyes of a local. I never check guidebooks or tourist websites before I go to a place. I like arriving there and just discover what the locals like about their cities :)
I value difference, uniqueness, openness. Couchsurfing feels like a great way to connect with people in a way that is both scary and beautiful at the same time. The places I visited are embodied by the people I met there and I feel like this is what remains at the end. Human connection is, for me, perhaps the greatest vector of movement.
Yay let's meet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would say all the artistic pieces I have created in my life. The compositions I was able to create, the choreographies I made, all the creation that came out of my mind. That is the most beautiful gift of my life.
Also being very lost in the middle of Rome, with no cash in my pockets, looking desesperatly for a place to stay... and finally sleeping in the park next to Termini station and getting woken up by drunken and homeless people! That was a memorable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you looootttssss of things about music (theory, playing piano, signing, read music, etc.)
I can also teach you how to stretch yourself properly...
I can teach you some words in french, or in Québécois french (which is even more interesting... hehehe)
I would like to learn Japenese, German and Spanish...
We could share a pizza?
