Overview
About Me
Respectful, intelligent, super gay, married to a lovely man, very organized, honest and a coffee lover! I am a concert pianist and teacher, what means I spend most of my days sitting at pianos either practicing, rehearsing, sight-reading, working with students or procrastinating and complaining. On my free time I dance Butoh (Japanese dance), built my own contemporary Art, sing a lot and perform as the Drag Queen Nebula Solaris. If you like board games, Art cinema or classical music we will easily find topics to talk about.
I grew up in Brazil and moved to the US in 2011 as a music student; I now work at a University here in Virginia. I am very proud to have learned English by my self, and I think I am doing a very good job. I like languages and really want to learn Japanese and German! (although, I do make up words from time to time, so please ask me to try again if you can't understand me at all!). Please, don't treat me as a foreigner or a commodity, it happens more often than I care to let you know that people want foreigners to be exotic and fascinating creatures, but in reality we are as real and boring as anyone else :-)
People tend to really enjoy my energy and company, I pay a lot of attention to boundaries and like to make people feel comfortable! I guarantee you that my good humor will prevail and we will have a great time together!
