Hi there!

I'm Júlia, a 25 year-old girl from Barcelona currently starting an adult life in my home town! Me and my girlfriend like travelling and learning.

The past three years I've been living and studying in France and Tenerife :) I finished my Translation and Interpretation bachelor degree in Barcelona and wished to travel around a little bit and live abroad so I started a degree in Lyon (and it was an amazing experience) and then I went to Paris. I ended up doing a Master in Tenerife and went to the beach many times (half of them it rained though)!

I love travelling and meeting people, and also singing, cooking and well... Many things!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

When living in Paris I once went sightseeing with two girls that a friend of mine had home in Couchsurfing and I thought that it was something I definitely should do soon! I found it great to be able to meet people from other cultures while visiting a city or village, and to share with them quality time while cohabitating.
I believe it's another way of tavelling, more conscious, integrating and open-minded.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to Morocco and visited an organization which helped girls who were otherwise living in the street. They didn't speak Spanish nor English or French and neither did I speak Arabic, but we managed to communicate and it was really a life-changing experience. Even though I study languages and work as a translator/interpreter, I understood then that communication is a very powerful tool beyond the frame of spoken languages.
