Hi guys !
Let me present myself (sounds egocentric): open-minded, social and curious, searching for new experiences, I just want to go out of my daily routine. I'm coming from a little village and I'm bored of always seeing the same faces :) So I decided to try the solo travelling to have better chances to meet new people and maybe build new friendships. And guess what, it worked ! Plus I love that :)
I can bring you some typical swiss lifestyle (not the boring one :)) and kind of craziness. Oh, and please don't be afraid of my weird humor, even I can't understand it sometimes :D

I LOVE DISCOVERING : a new country, a new city, artists, lifestyles, sport,... I also like learning : languages, cooking recipes, physical laws, mathematical formula, chemical experience and above all learning from people and my own experiences.

GO OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE ! Make new experiences and take risks. If you're afraid of doing anything, do it anyway ! You'll be so proud after that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because travelling should not be only about seeing the best spots of a city/country, but also discover the lifestyle and culture of the region. And meeting locals is the best way to learn about it.

Interests

I have (too) many interests : History, art (every kind of it), reading, slow-living, -cosmetics, -fashion, -tourims, everything that is about ecology, upcycling (fashion, furniture, jewels, ...), travelling, classical music, languages, society, design and many more that I might have forgotten.

MUSIC
Classical music : I love the romantic period and my favorite composer is Tchaikovsky.
Old french singer like Brassens, Brel, Barbara or Gainsbourg, and also actual french singer like Pomme, Ben Mazué, Juliette, Voyou.
Eastern European / Russian folk music

MOVIES/SERIES
When I have some time I watch some series, mostly on Netflix. My favorites ones are Dark, Peaky Blinders, The Crown,...

Notre-Dame de Paris (Hugo) - The Master and Margarita (Bulgakov) - Sonietchka (Ulitskaya) - Milan Kunder, Annie Ernaux, Vladimir Fedorovski,...
I also read a lot of books about history (about the 20th century and Russia) and biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first solo travel ! An Interrail trip through cities in Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic and Germany. I did some couchsurfing and some hostelling and just met incredible people from all around the world ! I didn't even want to go home (but I had to as I almost had no money anymore :))

Teach, Learn, Share

During my first solo travel, I learned to LET GO ! Like going through a city without looking a map and see what happened at the end of the street or even allowing you to get "lost", and also let your plans changed at the last minute because you met new friends who had other plans and you decide to follow them (even if you don't know what's the plan about). Seems easy, but believe me, it's not. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great laughter (because I'm certainly the clumsiest human :D), conversations, teaching some french or swiss german, a bit of my typical swiss culture and some of my few experiences.
