About Me
I've got an upbeat heart and smile most of the time. I'm also very glad to have childlike curiosity, I don't see myself getting bored soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I visited a friend in Berlin he took me to a party he saw on couchsurfing and the people and vibes I met there where right up my alley. Not thinking that was a coincidence I immediatly signed up the day after so I can do some couchsurfing of my own at home or wherever I'll find myself to be in the future!
Interests
In my spare time I keep a diary and I'm quite fond of handwritten text. I like knotting and weaving bracelets and messing around with a sewing kit, making/reparing things myself. The same goes for cooking, it's a real joy eating a tasty home made dish! I have a deep fondness for pots and pans and other robust things like zippo's or my fountain pain too, the durability and "one lasts a lifetime" appeals to me.
Besides all that I play drums and go for a run every couple of days.

Music, Movies, and Books
Taraf de Haidouks or Meshuggah, I don't mind, I love it! I love all kinds, Sibelius is one of my favorite composers, The Doors my favorite band. I like garage rock, the Ty Segall kind of stuff. The only music I really don't listen to is EDM, except when it comes to hardcore (gabber) cause it's just great stomping your feet to the ground fully acknowledging you once were a cavemen.
From the top of my head, a few books I really appreciated were:
Vernon God Little by D.B.C. Pierre
Titaantjes by Nescio (all his work est sublime)
De Jongensjaren by J.M. Coetzee
Some of my favorite movies:
Paths of Glory
Oslo, 31. august
Lawrence of Arabia
The Castle (best feelgood film of all time if you ask me!)
Das Experiment
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yo-yoing on a mountain top
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg
