Meeting people in their home environment allows for a better understanding of different cultures, and builds tolerance and respect for people with different values. It builds a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, beliefs, practices, racial or ethnic origins, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry so much needed in todays difficult world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I996, in recognition of my service developing commercial interests between the UK and Poland, I was awarded the OBE (Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, during her visit to Poland. Amazingly I was presented with the award in a room in the Palace on the Water, during a private audience with Her Majesty.
