About Me
Hi! My name is Matheus and I graduated in Law school in Brazil at the end of 2014, and then went to Israel (october 2015) to pursue a M.A. in Jewish studies on the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I had great experiences with couchsurfing there and I want to give some people the same!
I can be fun - I swear - but I can't play soccer, nor dance samba (I am sorry).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a great way to get inside the real israeli life as well as meeting nice people. Also, I can' t lie: it's a great way to save some money, specially when you are a broken student!
Interests
I'm interested in getting the fuller Israel experience I can. I enjoy both modern cultural and entertainment activities as well as religious tourism and actvities.
I love parties, but I also enjoy nice family dinners : )

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a great lover of brazilian music (forró, sertanejo, and other studd). When it comes to international music, I just stick to the basics of pop!
Also some classics: The Beatles and some Queen :D
I am also a big nerdy bookworm, so I'll go (for movies and books) with Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, ASOIAF (aka Game of Thrones).
Also, as a jewish studies major, I am pretty much interested in jewish religious literature from the Bible to Shlomo Carlebach and beyond!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done was to come to Israel, I guess... I don't usually rate the things I did, specially not as amazing, so, yeah, I can't really answer this :X
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can present some brazilian music (yay), maybe try and teach how to dance the best brazilian dance ever (FORRÓ). Some brazilian culture and politics if you're on the mood for that.
I like to talk about religion as well!
