I'm Öznur, from Turkey.
I studied psychology and, after graduating, I went to Hungary to volunteer. There, I worked in a local kindergarten, supporting children through play and daily activities.

Currently, I live in Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany – about an hour from Berlin. I work with teenagers who come from challenging family situations and often have traumatic backgrounds.

I'm in the process of building my life here in Germany and looking for new experiences..

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After my 10-month adventure in Hungary, I finally found myself back in Europe. I started an FSJ (voluntary social year) in a small town here. Life in that town was pretty quiet, and I had few opportunities to meet new people.

Recently, I moved to a nearby city and I’m now trying to start a new chapter of my life.
I really enjoy hearing about other people’s experiences — and I love sharing parts of my own journey too.

🦇🧗I was interested in caving, which is an extreme sport, and I was an instructor. I discovered a cave that no one had set foot in before and I was the first person to enter that cave with the equipment.

🧖 I worked with children as a volunteer in a refugee association for 3 months.

👤I did an internship in a juvenile prison and worked as a volunteer.

👍I visited many cities in Turkey by hitchhiking.
