About Me

My name is Lucía and I am from Madrid, Spain. I love living here and I always miss Madrid and its people when I am away from home. I love walking around la Latina, laying on the grass in Oriente, visiting El Rastro on a Sunday morning... Other than Madrid, I have studied in Montpellier, France, for 2 years and in Geneseo, NY for 1 year as a exchange student.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On May 2017, after spending a year studying abroad in Geneseo NY, my friend Laurine and I planned a roadtrip around the East Coast to go to Texas. We visited Washington DC, Charlotte, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, San Antonio and Dallas in 13 days. In all the cities we were hosted by really nice Coachsurfers. We enjoyed this experience and our hosts were a breath of fresh air, so now I'm up to helping people as our hosts helped us to get around my city.

Interests

I love languages more than anything in this world. I also enjoy reading in Spanish, English and French, cooking, and running.
