I'm a 26 year old guy born in Austria. I'm studying social work in Graz / Austria but currently I'm living in Guatemala City cause I am doing an internship here. Currently I work for an institution that is working with children who suffered from violence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cause I like to travel cheap and want to get to know many different people to broaden my horizon. Furthermore I want to offer people an easy place to sleep.

Interests

I like to do sports like Basketball, Frisbee and especiallly mountaineering.

Furthermore I like to listen and to make music. I played the clarinet for a long time since I was a kid, now play the guitar and sing. I like to learn new languages, because for me they are the door to new cultures and people. Currently I am working on my Spanish skills as well as on some basic phrases of some mayan languages.

Politics, economics and international relations and the connection to the influence of the society is some kind of hobby to me. I like to read the news, even though it makes me quite angry and sad frequently.

Over all I'm interested in all kind of people, other cultures and learning new things. Doesn't matter what. :)
