About Me
I'm Brazilian but a bit Portuguese from the inside out of my soul - and from the double nationality :P ...that's why I've been always traveling to Europe either together with my family or alone.
I love Nature and it's power, I love people and knowing different cultures/societies/behaviors/culinary. Curious, stubborn: that's me. I cannot let something pass by without understanding it from its deepest principle.
Professionally I'm a chemist and PhD in neurosciences. I am currently working at a publisher as an editor of Chemistry, Biology and Basic Sciences. In parallel, I like playing with holistic/alternative therapies, naturopathy, astrology, tarot... Yes, I'm that kind of non-skeptic scientist, who really doesn't believe that this science we consider nowadays is enough to explain everything. That's why I'm open minded and really excited about new knowledge - from any source/type, as long as it's somehow empirical (and here we can have a large discussion about scientific method and philosophy ;) ).
I'm not as geek as it seems, though. I'm very much social, I like partying hard, dancing, singing in the shower, going out all night long... I'm married to an awesome guy, but we are definitely not the conventional type of couple - our "lemma" is love + respect = freedom.
