Resumen
Sobre mí
Hello/bonjour!
I'm a young professional living and working in Montreal. I've done a fair share of backpacking and couchsurfing mostly around Asia-Pacific: Cambodia, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar, but also various places in Mexico, Canada, and the US.
I moved back to Montreal last year to start a new job, and thought that it'd be nice to switch it up and be a host for couchsurfers in my humble little apartment. I've got a pull out couch in my living room - it's not the most comfortable mattress, but I've had no complaints so far! Welcoming solo travelers but also open to couples/pairs. I live a little east of the downtown core, and am within walking distance from a metro station.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I tried couchsurfing for the first time in Vietnam on a previous backpacking trip. My very first host, Phuong, was absolutely incredible and taught me so much about the country and Vietnamese culture. I also had the chance to meet her English students, and help them practice their English. I quickly learned that couchsurfing is great way to connect with locals and get a much more authentic travel experience.

Algo increíble que he hecho
A couple of years ago I embarked on a 6-day backcountry hiking trip with one of my best friends in the Adirondacks, New York. We spent the entire summer training and practicing with short weekend trips, but this was definitely a challenge, as the mountains in this area are much higher than what we were used to hiking in Quebec/Ontario. In 6 days, we summited something like 5 mountains with our heavy packs, never showered, and ate a TON of couscous. This was probably one of the most physically and mentally challenging experiences I've had, but also the most rewarding and fun. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
