About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Marco and I am from Brazil. I have lived in California, USA for a while and I always want to travel to different places and meet new people. I am a very friendly and easygoing person. I love making new friends! One of my favorite things to do is discover new cultures and lifestyles. I love drinking wine, watching films and TV shows and eating a lot :) Also, I am a teacher, so I can teach you Portuguese or English, if you are not native! lol.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop rock music, my favorite band is U2 (I know, they are old, but still pretty good). I also like The Beatles, Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Coldplay, Queen, etc.
Brazilian music is pretty good too - axé music, samba, MPB. Lots of different artists and all of them are amazing!
I like watching all kinds of movies. Seriously. I am a major movie buff. I love watching drama, comedy, sci fi, thriller, horror films... Pretty much everything! My favorite actor is Daniel Day-Lewis and my favorite actress is the amazing Meryl Streep!
I love reading a good book. I am like Rory Gilmore in that way.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the many times I went to Rio I decided to go hang-glider from the biggest "rock mountain" in Rio. It was an amazing experience, but I have to say I felt a little frightned, at the beginning. Neverthless, it was worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Portuguese and English - In fact I have lots of foreign students who learn how to speak Portuguese with me.
I am open to learn pretty much anything.
I like to share my values, culture and advantures. I have lots of adventures to share!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a good laugh and good moments, a good conversation and sweets from Brazil (I am not a good cook, but I can try!), travel plans and adventures.
