About Me

Hello,
My name is Abi and I am from a town called Totnes in Devon which is in the South of England in the countryside, I grew up jumping in rivers, climbing trees, growing vegetables and swimming in the sea!
I'm always looking for new adventures and have found myself in Australia this year. Sometimes I travel with my friend Nicole who is also in Australia so if I have asked for two people to stay on your couch it will be her, she is in some of my photo's :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whilst I am traveling I find it much nicer to meet people who are local or live locally and enjoy sharing their time and space with others and I have already learnt so much from people through this... often ending up in places I would never have found without the advice of someone with the knowledge of the area.
I have always enjoyed having people stay with me but never actually got onto this site until recently.
So far it has been a great experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

From Grunge & Metal to House, Minimal Techno & Psytrance and Jazz, Hiphop & Country...
just depends on the mood!
I can't play instruments which I intend to change one day but I do like to sing along.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm Amazing?
I'm not sure I have done much that you would class as amazing, I decided to be a vegetarian when I was 4 years old - but don't worry meat eaters I am not a preacher!
This year I became a level 2 Freediver which may not be a huge achievement but I love doing it.
I generally try to live my live by Ahimsa. (non-violence)
Although I did run a farmer called Geoff over with a quad when I was 9 but it was an accident. ( he survived)
I don't class anything as amazing really...

Teach, Learn, Share

I wouldn't class myself as much of a cook but I'm always happy to share and give it ago!
I like to chat and explore ideas.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Laos, Myanmar, Netherlands, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand
