Our mission is to provide safety and opportunity to the poor and orphaned children of Prey Pdeak Village. Shelter in Happy Land center is open to at-risk children of the community, not only for orphans but for children that have problems within their family environment. Education in many forms is encouraged for all children of the community: basic independent life skills, leisure activities, English lessons, and more.
Happy Land center fully opens in January, 2016 and needs a lot of help to launch a successful program. Until that time, we are providing English lessons and getting established in the community. It is the second location by our founder, Mr. Kim Ny. He strongly believes in teaching children to survive independently by learning through example.
The vision of a successful program for the children and community includes:
• 24/7 care for children living in the center
• Life Skill workshops (i.e. farming/gardening, cooking, cleaning, first aid, hygiene, healthy living, computer programs, music, dance)
• English education classes
How can you help?
Join our group of volunteers to care for and teach the children! We have many needs and are open to help from all loving individuals. Please see a detailed list of needs below under ‘Help’. You can travel to our location by public van from Phnom Penh.

we want people to come and stay in the center as much time as they like, play with the kids, teach them whatever you can and help us maintain the center so that future kids could come here also.
