Overview
About Me
I'm an 22 years old actress from Brazil, who wanted to travel since I was a child. My parents were "hippie" travelers, who lived in a van travelling around Europe for several years, so I grew up hearing their stories, plus hosting some of the good friends they've made there.
For now, I'm in Glasgow and will be here untill March. But then, I'll go to my first trip alone, around some coutries of Europe. During this time, I want to do a little bit of what I love doing: Theatre on street, metro and wherever more I have the opportunity and daring! Plus I'm learning ukulele, trying to improve my skills. If there's some couchsurfer who'd like to play some songs or do someh theatre toghether, call me please! :D
Also I play "pandeiro" and a type of drum called "caixa de folia" (I don't know how it's called in english). I don't play it properly, but I try! haha
Actually, there's a lot of things which I love doing/listening, though I still don't do it properly, like: Yoga, acrobatics, circus stuffs in general and dancing! I know a little bit of this things...
Since I was 14 years old, I was involved with politics causes like teenagers organizations, homeless people, etc. Currently, I'm not as involved as I was, but I like talking about it, as I like talking about culture, travel and history.
Unfortunately, I couldn't host people from Couchsurfing before, because in the last years I lived with my family in a small house, but it is a goal when I go back to Brazil.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a "newbie" on Couchsurfing and I've read a lot about "couchsurfer spirit". Basically I have two reasons to be here:
- I want a different kind of travel, not the traditional tourism. I know, everybody says it here but is true. I want to know different cultures, homes and people, and maybe share what I know about music, theatre and brazilian culture. And I don't believe that is a thing that I will find in a hotel :)
- Currently I'm a low cost traveller. It may sound bad, but I believe people can enjoy trips and life with less money, and is not like turning someone's house in a hotel. It's about helping each other, as me and my parents have hostes their friends and friend's friends a lot of times (out of Couchsurfing). And you can be sure: You'll always have a place to stay in my house in Brazil =D
Interests
I like to play musical instruments and listen to different kinds of music, dance (especially "forró" and some types of brazilian rhythms), act, and circus stuff. My favorite hobbie for now is walking around the streets, visiting museums, reading books and watching TV series. But I also like a good party, to dance a lot!
In Brazil I worked at child birthday parties for years, doing animal-shaped balloons, face painting and playing with the kids, and I still like it!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I would like to share something about theatre (basic circus's exercises, theatre games, etc), body exercises, and about the brazilian culture. I can cook a typical brazilian plate, show or teatch some types of dance (forró, samba or côco de roda). And if you have children, I can sing a playful children song from Brazil.
