About Me

I am a Spanish borned in Galicia and I've completed my degree in Environmental Sciences in the University of Vigo. I carried out the last year of my studies as Erasmus in Constanta (Romania), developing an intense wish for traveling and meeting new people from mine or whatever other country. After completing my master in Granada and working for a while, I decided that was time to move again.

A few weeks ago, I started my trip visiting some good friends in Brittany (France). All the good things that I can say about my stay in the northwest of the country are not enough to show the great experience that I had. Once I said good bye to my friends, I took a ferry direct to Ireland.

For 2 weeks, I've stayed with one lovely family in the countryside close to Cork as Workawayer, helping them with all tasks that they left on my hands and getting along with both parents and children. They made me feel like another member of the family and, even if I hope to see them again, I will keep them in my memories for the rest of my life.

In this moment, I've decided to move to a big city in order to get a job and establish for while, which is probably the reason why you are reading my profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it's a very cheap way to visit other places and, something very important to me, a simple way to meet new people. So of course, who is better than the local people to explain the customs of their own country or giving advice about what see in their city?

Interests

I like music (specially punk rock) and I'm always interested in discover new bands or concerts. Due to this, I'm learning how to play guitar. Just two months ago I also joined an indoor climbing wall in order to try to get into this wonderful sport.

When I'm visiting a city, like everybody, I want to be at the most touristic places but also the traditional and the not so cosmopolitan places. And always, if I have the chance, spend some time in a natural place or visiting some natural monument.

Music, Movies, and Books

Probably my favorite music style is the punk rock thanks to bands like Rise Against but I love John Frusciante (exguitaris of Red Hot Chili Peppers) too.

I'm an official nerd of Game of Thrones' Saga.

Finally, I think The Butcher of the film Gangs of New York is an amazing bastard.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my 10 months as Erasmus I hitchhike along 4.100 km in different trips, discovering most of the Balkan countries, sleeping in hostels, couches and outdoors with or without tent.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always interested in knowing different points of view of different social issues, or listen what someone thinks that is the general opinion of his own country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just a good and friendly treatment to make them to feel comfortable. At the same time, I will always give them, as much as possible, freedom to visit my city on the way they desire.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey
