a few things you have to know about me: I like to talk (sometimes I talk too much, please, tell me if it's the case), to go out and sit on a bar and drink some beers (or cokes). I dance a little, but I'm a little shy about that. I really like to know people and I love when my home is full. My home now is called Lara's pub, because my friends are always here to drink something and hang out together. I'm descovering a lot about my city and other stuff and would be very please to include diferent people on this. I'm living for 1 year in Berlin as an exchange student and here was always my dream city. I can't express how wonderful it is. I really hate the smell of smoking and sadly, don't know how to cook (and don't like it either), but I'm good at cleaning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi :) I don't really know what to write, but first I begin to accept brazilian student travellers and now I'm in love with this couchsurfing thing. I realize also that is better to know a new city when you're between locals. and all sort of life stories that can happen. I think that's why

Interests

music at most. I'm terrible with names and things like that, but I'm always listening to something and LOVE to discover new bands. I tap dance since I was a little girl, so I'm kind of a dancing person (not the club dance type because I don't have the mojo to this, but I try :p).
love little kids. not that little too. I love to play with them, watch all the movies and stuff like that. I'm a very happy aunt now. It's sad because the kids are in Brazil with the rest of the family though.
I really like to read and I'm always searching new places to read outside. Not now in winter, but I think you can understand why. That's why I always have a favorite place in town.

Music - último romance from a band called Los Hermanos. It's a brazilian band and I love them and the experience of hearing them play alive was the most incredible thing to do on my birthday o/ I still can't believe

Movie - the beauty and the beast. I know it's a child movie, but I love it ever since. Know how to sing the songs and so on.
So, I like almost everything. but I'm really afraid of horror and thriller. Afraid like I can't sleep.

Book - Lettre à D. Histoire d'un amour. don't know how many times I read this and it's the most amazing thing every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Morocco and sleep on the desert. That's not the amazing thing (ok, maybe it is). The most amazing thing was to look at the sky and see nothing but stars. I felt the universe above me and I can't describe the sensation. We are really nothing (but it's a beautiful nothing, I must say)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about other people's experiences not only in traveling but in their lives, everyone has an interesting story to share. I like to learn new languages too, at least a few words.

I can teach tap dance if you want to know a little and I share good jokes (for me, they are great, but not everyone has the same sense of humor, I get it hahaha)
