Overview
About Me
I am an easy-going guy who would like to meet people from different cultures and understand them a little better. I am pretty easy to take care of - I can get my own food and water. I just need shelter and occasional walks in the park. Chew toys are preferable, but not necessary. Scratches behind the ears welcome.
I value honesty and openness. And humour. Aaand cookies, but that is about it.
If I'm hosting you, you can expect some attention depending on the amount of studying/work I have on my plate during your stay. We could do some light sightseeing, cooking, chatting and, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, bouldering! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore what is out there - people, nature, food, music, beauty, stuff (very poetic, I know!)
I want to have a first-hand experience of different cultures and ways of living. I am always looking for something new, interesting and anything involving peanut butter.
Music, Movies, and Books
My default genre would be metal, but I listen to all sorts of music ranging from 80s disco to psychedelic trance and classical music. Metallica, Disturbed, Godsmack, Korn, Soil, Chopin, Estas Tonne etc. It's been synthwave lately, too!
My favorite movie is hands down Fight club. Prestige, Inception are up there as well. Other honorable mentions would be movies with Jim Carrey - I love that guy. I also enjoy documentaries.
I read a lot and listen to audiobooks as well. I like self-development books, psychology, science and how-to books in the non-fiction area. In fiction, I love reading fantasy. My favorite book would be The Way Of The Kings and The Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson. The Oathbringer is also out!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once farted so loudly that my neighbors clapped and cheered.
Okay, seriously now. I'd say waking up from the perpetual semi-depression and lethargy and finding a new zest for life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook fairly well - curries and italian dishes are my thing. I am vegetarian/vegan, so I mostly know my way around meatless dishes.
And probably some other stuff I can't remember now. Darn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, not much besides my presence and a joke here and there :)
