Hi! I'm Alex Angel, mmhhh actualy "Angel" is not my name, but a kind of pseudonym I adopted long ago. I live in Monterrey, Mexico. I was born (and raised) here, which I like; however, I’d like to move in the near future. For there are a lot of amazing places and people, and I want to know as much as I can.
I studied Linguística Aplicada in Facultad de Filosofía y Letras (Applied Linguístics, Philosofy and Arts School), currently I’m working as a copy editor and translator, both formally and freelance.

I love music and food, almost any kind of both. I play the guitar and harmonica, a little. Also like reading, biking, hiking… maybe one day I’ll try climbing. I don’t know how to swim, but I love the beach, rivers and any places with water. Desert is also great, oh! And the forest! Is not that I’m an outdoors person, but… or am I?, not sure :).

Specially rock and roll of course! I like most of genres, though. I'm more into alternative, punk, hardcore, rock rupestre, trova; I like hip hop too, folk, classic rock, classical music… Well I guess it would be easier to name some bands.
Alternative music, like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Radiohead, Mew, Smashing Pumpkins... Also bands like Fun People, Manu Chao, Rancid, Gym Class Heroes, Modena City Ramblers (though I don’t speak Italian) Louise Attaque (though I don’t speak French). Latin folk: Inti Illimani, Mercedes Sosa… And hip hop: Folie à trois, Dia Sexto, The Roots, KRS-One. Well, I just love music.

Movies: Les amours imaginaires, Stand by me, Los Olvidados, Kill Bill, El Lado Oscuro del Corazón, Alice in Wonderland, UHF, Tim Burton’s movies; documentary films.
