Hi! My name is Petter and I'm 29 years old. Most of my adult life I've been traveling around and living in different places and countries, quite a few years in China until I settled down in Sweden about 5 years ago and started working. I grew tired of that life style and I recently resigned from my evil corporation job in order to save the world. So now I am out traveling again when I'm not staying in my hometown in the heart of beautiful Bergslagen.

I love meeting new people and share new ideas with open minded and like-minded people. I've noticed that travelers usually have a lot in common. This is my first time trying couchsurfing so I'm definitely a newbie!

Music: all-eater. I love most types of music but I grew up with folk musician parents so that is closest to my heart. Recently I've really been getting into new-folk, indie-folk etc. but I also like rock, punk, punkrock, hardcore and so on.

Books: Ishmael, Sapiens, Krishnamurti stuff. Wild.

Movies: In Bruges, Into the Wild.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well. When I was working at the airport a few years ago I was keeping an eye on the gate as per usual (I was an airline representative) and I noticed a young Chinese man walking up towards us carrying a small cage with an animal inside. And this is a flight from Sweden directly to China. You are NOT allowed to carry dogs and whatnot into the cabin willy nilly! So I explained this to the passenger and said that he could not travel with the dog (it was a tiny chihuahua). We then argued for quite a while but in the end the young man almost broke into tears, saying how he MUST leave to Beijing to elope with his fiancée and get married in secret because the parents did not approve. At this point I thought to myself what can I possibly do to help them marry each other and be happy... so I ended up taking his dog home to me from the airport after work and I took care of it for 3 months until he came back and I gave the dog back to him. They did get married and I hope they're happy. God damn I miss that dog though....
