Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always been intrigued by the concept but a bit hesitant... A recent trip to the Philippines swayed me when I randomly met and stayed with a traveling Philippino couple with my girlfriend Danielle (in pic). Time to surf where we can and also share our extra room (slash office) with like-minded people!

Interests

Travelling, sports (soccer, hockey, snowboarding, volleyball, running, gym) and spending time with my family and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like it all. Depends on the time and place but anything from classic rock to rap to top 40 and everything in between.
Movies - a lot of movies I like but Dumb and Dumber has to be my favourite!
Books - just finished The Martian which I really liked ("science rules" - Bill Nye)
Also recently read The Goldfinch and A Million Little Pieces which were both really enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like I've been fortunate enough to do a lot of amazing things but one highlight was a 5 month trip through South America, lots of great memories and experiences from there!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Always interested in learning new things! Learned to solve a 5x5x5 rubies cube for example haha
Always looking to share experiences and stories, love hearing about what people are passionate about :)
