About Me
Annyeong! We’re Doa and Key, a Korean married couple 🇰🇷 who love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
We truly believe in “You Only Live Once.” Since life is short, we decided to take time off and explore the colorful world. Over the past year, we’ve connected with 32 hosts from many different cultures, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience 🌏🙌🏻
Although we are now settled in Korea, we would still love to continue exchanging cultures through Couchsurfing. Our home is located in Wondang-dong, Incheon, with easy access to Seoul by public transportation.
Our place is more than just accommodation — we hope to share cultures through stories, food, and small souvenirs, and enjoy meaningful conversations together.
* we only accept guests who have at least 10 references, if your references are fewer, but if you really want to spend time with us, then please share your Instagram or Facebook so that we can know about you.
* please keep cleaning our house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
* Although my family's financial status wasn't good, I studied hard during high school, and eventually, I could enter Samsung at the age of 17
* Once my life had somewhat stabilized, I started sponsoring Korean and Nepali children
* From 2012 to 2022, I supported a Nepali girl called Rebika, who lived in a small rural village in Nepal, contributing $25 every month for ten years until she was on the verge of adulthood
* In 2013, curious about Rebika’s environment and how she was living, I took my first trip to Nepal. That meeting moved me deeply, and it inspired me to learn Nepali so I could communicate better with her.
* I found a Nepali restaurant in Korea and asked the owner to teach me Nepali. Now my Nepali is quite fluent
* Meeting Rebika was a turning point in my life. Our connection made me dream of helping Nepali children, and at the age of 22, I left Samsung and worked for Nepali children's better education
* After that, I continued working in developing countries for several years, such as Cambodia, Rwanda, and Nepal again for the sustainable development
* Life becomes more beautiful when you help people and share your love with them ❤️
