Hello, my name is Maxime (or Max in more common manner). Originally from Ukraine 🇺🇦, working in investment banking domain, and a tourist guide (weekends) in Paris. I am active person, trying to change my life as often as possible . Amazing people is the most motivating factor for me and the main source of ideas. I work hard, doing a lot of sports ( running and crossfit) as well as a lot of parties ( at least 3 times per week but do not worry it is rarely at home). Trying to travel every month. I have not too many complexes and no judgement so whoever you are, we can be comfortable.

What can I offer you is an apartment of two rooms (I am located in one of them) about 40 sq. meters in a silent neighborhood of Paris (30 min from Paris by train + around 10 min walk). If you like to be close to Paris but discover some other places and see a real France it can be a good option for you. Ticket for transport is around 25 euros per week and you can use it to go to the airport and basically the whole region so you will not spend much more money for transport if you stay here. If you have read till this point please note READ THE STUFF in your message otherwise I will have to waste my time to explain all the stuff I have written in this paragraph so let’s be respectful:)

I do not ask for anything in return so you should not bring me any gifts. The best gift is your presence if you are a great person or just a nice person:) I do not ask to hang out with me either because if it was me Couchsurfing I would like to have my personal space and appreciate the city in a way I planned. The same for me: sometimes I am hanging out and sometimes I am tired so no obligations but I will still try to spend as much time as I can with you if you wish 😊 if you don’t I am fully ok with that

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quite a materialist person and I am also a scientist so I do not believe much in things we cannot see and I know how dangerous excessive spirituality can be for some aspects of life. That’s why I am keeping me away from it . However very often we have funny discussions with travelers about it and I tolerate some things more and test it on me. So it will be fun to talk about that.

At the same time I am not kinda person that likes to talk about jobs and other boring stuff just to talk about something.
I am far more interested in exploring the uncommon attitudes to life and to things that are probably common for all of us (if it concerns job then ok we can do that ☺️). I want to share something that can change habits or views of me or my guests and ideally both of us.

I hosted people that had just to stay for a night, did festivals trips or world tour. I feel like me and these people as well have become richer mentally due to sharing.

Cool to know why you do that (trip, activity, meditation whatever) and why I am not doing that yet and vice versa.
