Our project is an educational social Enterprise seeking support for our organization in Hai Phong. We firmly believe that Education is fundamental key to human progress, enabling individuals and communities to acquire skills and knowledge, essential for improving their quality of life. But for disadvantaged youth their access to education is limited

We have always been an independent organization with no connection to (or support from) any government or religious organization. Locations:

Hai Phong ( Big Hero organization)
We are based in Hai Phong province, the third largest city in Vietnam which is also a tourism province located 100 km away from the City capital of Hanoi. Our place is located in a peaceful neighborhood 45 minutes away from Do Son - the famous beach and 2 hours away from Catba – Pearl Island, is the most beautiful, largest island in Halong Bay, the World Natural Heritage Site.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are looking for volunteers to teach English lessons for students in Hai Phong city

We operate with English communication classes (reasonable price or free) for the disadvantaged and middle class young students. We believe that having the ability to communicate English and French makes a valuable difference to the students life’s within these communities as it gives them the chance to apply for higher paid jobs, substantially improving their standard of living.
We aim to create the most welcoming and exciting environment for volunteers all around the world come to help us and experience Vietnam culture at the same time.
Through practical lessons, students not only improve their language skills but also have a great chance to meet foreign friends, have fun, learn about Western culture and broaden their horizons.

Who We Help
As a social enterprise we endeavour to help teach disadvantaged and poor students. We also are hugely passionate about helping charities and local social projects.
Current charity/projects we are working on:
- Working with local volunteer group
- Currently profits from the Center are used to fund local charitable projects.
- Supporting local dioxin victims
Helping out at the local orphanage
