A researcher/ environmentalist/ philosopher with a love for exploring. Seven years ago, I moved from a tiny village in the East of The Netherlands to Amsterdam, and I have been living, studying and working there ever since.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Three years ago, I traveled around Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia; whist I was not active on Couchsurfing then, I consider the random encounters with locals as some of the highlights of my trip.

Interests

I love to go on mini expeditions on my bike and discover new places. On a free day, you can find me sipping coffee in a cafe with a book, dancing, practicing yoga, people watching in parks or visiting museums.

Recently, I started walking the Pieterpad, which runs from the North to the South of The Netherlands (around 500km), together with two friends.
