About Me

Hi, I'm JM, fromPhilippines. I'm currently assigned/transferred here in Tokyo for a year (since 2015). I like to explore/indulge more in the culture of the countries/places that I have visited.

For now, trying to explore more of Japan's scenic beauty and rich culture (and food :)).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I joined some organized events (c/o Tokyo Gaijins http://tokyogaijins.com), I've met a lot of people, from different countries, line/field of work, with different cultures, goals and perspectives. Some of the stories of these people inspired me to travel and explore more (both my own country and other countries).

Since then, I've enjoyed meeting new people (and new friends).

Interests

- (a little bit) extreme activities that I've never tried before
- snowboarding
- martial arts (especially oriental arts and anything related to Samurai)
- food
- computer games
- badminton

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Hiked/Climbed Mt. Fuji and watched the sunrise on top of it (with the sea of clouds)
- Learned snowboarding, it became my "winter 2016" hobby. I fell in love with the (powdery) snow of Japan (literally "fell", face first mostly haha)

What I Can Share with Hosts

"Omiyage" (gift or souvenir you give to friends, coworkers, and family after returning home from a trip)?

Also, fun stories of my stay/dventures in the countries I've visited.

Countries I’ve Visited

Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
