About Me

This Couchsurfing account is in name of a couple: Chico, 30 years, and Carla, 28. We were planing to Travel Around the World onboard of a small car turned into a home, starting our journey in Brazil in April 2018. When we realized that our plan was a little bigger than what we could achieve, we decided to slow down the pace and we ended up doing Americas in 2 years, finishing in February 2018. After all that experience, meeting with people from everywhere, we decided that we needed to improve our English to communicate fluently. That´s why in May of 2018 we came to Dublin, to study English - and, of course, keep travelling! At this time, the only thing that changed was the mean of transportation.... no more car, but full of energy and the will to discover the Old Continent!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because we love to be with local people in their places. That´s the best way to know the real life from where you are!

Music, Movies, and Books

We are very heterogeneous. We like all kind of songs, movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From April 2016 to February 2018 we traveled around Americas (the entire continent, from the very South, Ushuaia -Argentina, to the very North, Alaska!) aboard of a small car turned into our house during this period.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach Portuguese, as our mother language.
Chico knows how to play (a litlle bit) of guitar.
How to cook traditional brazilian food.
How to prepare the best Gaucho Barbecue!
The Mate gaucho (traditional south of Brazil beverage... kind of green tea..just kind of!hehehe)

Learn:
We would really love to learn how to cook traditional food where the people are from. And how to prepare traditional drinks, as well. We really love to be on a Kitche.
And, of course, we want to learn about the culture of the people, their costumes, likes, everything!

Share:
What we have to share with everyone are our history experienced during our travel... our culture... our friendship!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences... in our life, all are experiences! Telling a story.. preparing some nice food.... just sharing a beer, or wine, or.... mate! hahaaha because we are addicted to it!
