About Me

I'm a brazilian journalist, actor, editorial producer and writer. I'm an open-minded person with a young spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting new people and cultures.
Although new here, I'm used to travel staying at youth hostels. My sister received some CS guests from diferent countries and she surfed also.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to almost every kind of music, from classic to rock. The Beatles, The Cure, The Police, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Dire Straits, Creedence... Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Gal Costa, Maria Gadu, Adriana Calcanhoto... And many many other groups and singers.
I love cinema, so I see many movies and TV Series (Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Sense8, The 100, The Borgias, Game of Thrones, Dr. House, Marco Polo, Jessica Jones....). My "number one" movie: Cyrano de Bérgerac (Jean-Paul Rappeneau).
I'm always reading anything, specially contemporary literature in Portuguese language (Cristovão Tezza, João Carrascoza, Mia Couto, Walter Hugo Mãe, José Saramago...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Airplanes hitchhiking (really!).
Swiming from Brazil to Argentina crossing the Iguassu River.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been a Journalism professor for more than 15 years! I love to learn new thinks (I've started seven different courses at the university: Journalism, Gastronomy (those two I completed!), Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Psychology, Mediation).
I can share many stories.
I have a degree in Gastronomy and I know how to cook some good dishes. If you want to taste a good "caipirinha" (tipical brazilian drink) or even a wonderful "feijoada" I can teach you how to make it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life experiences. And humanity! I can cook some good dishes too. I'm a collaborative person – I really like to wash the dishes!
