ABOUT US

Hello!
We are two 20 yr old girls from the Southern coast of Finland. We are called Elsa and Venla and we have known each other since we were little kids. (For proof check our 4th photo!)

Because we are Finnish, we don't like to brag about all our great qualities, so we let the other one do the job.

Venla on Elsa: Elsa is a lovely and outgoing person who somehow always manages to find new friends wherever she goes. She socializes even with animals (usually comes to my house to hang out with my dogs). She's adventurous and interested in the world around her.

Elsa on Venla: Venla is a talented young woman who is pretty much professional in everything she does. She is mathematically genius and never hangs up on my the-night-before-math-test- panic -calls. She is also very easy-going and fun to hang out with. Also, she is the one who is correcting all my grammar mistakes (even at the moment).

PHILOSOPHY

If your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough
Sleeping is a time machine to breakfast
I don't take things as they come if they bring me down
You can never be overdressed or overeducated
Real travel would be to see the world, for even an instant, with another's eyes

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We first created this account when we were going to an interrail trip last summer and thought that couch surfing is probably the best way to travel. We met amazing people on the way and shared many unforgettable memories. I hope to experience something similar in the future via this application.

ps. If you have any pets, Elsa will pet them and Venla will make sure they will not run away.

pps. Elsa is very good at making braids and hairdoes, so you will no longer have bad hair days while we are staying at your place!
