I'm friendly if you're friendly!
The things I like include: books, op shops, bike rides, tea with a lot of sugar and milk, hiking, doggos, pictures of doggos, videos of doggos, Parks and Recreation, sleeping, large windows, travelling, foreign food, the occasional drink(s), beaches and empty places, planning themed parties and sewing costumes, house plants (but I don't know how to take care of them).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I know it sounds creepy but I really like to see what the inside of people's houses look like. But in a non-creepy way I promise! I'll probably tell you everything is lovely (and mean it). Also couchsurfing is a really nice and non-overwhelming way to meet people as opposed to parties or events where there are 50 people at a time and you don't really get to connect.
I also love to speak English and try to utter/learn a few words from other languages from time to time. Bonus points if we can talk about weird idioms and set expressions and how they sound even weirder (but funny) when you try to translate them.
I'll take any tips and pieces of advice on what to do around where you live because you are the best guide.

Intereses

I currently work in Translation Studies and I like words and language-related stuff like podcasts about linguistics, reading books and poetry, writing (sometimes).
I love taking pictures of places and people. My favourite thing to do is try to take nice pictures of people when they're not paying attention so they won't have the awkward 'I'm being photographed' face.
I spend an unhealthy amount of time on Netflix and watch a lot of cheesy movies and then criticize them.

Música, películas y libros

I pretty much listen to anything I like regardless of the kind of music that it is... Big fan of spotify playlists as I never know what to put on.

My favourite movies are probably Snatch, Inglourious Basterds, Forrest Gump, The Big Lebowski, a couple of other ones... yes very original I know! There's also a French cult comedy, Astérix Mission Cléopâtre, but I doubt anyone knows it who's not French! Also I like really sad movies that make you bawl like a baby and then your face looks like a big red potato. For some reason.
