Hi all!

I am Nicky Gabriëls, a Belgian sociology student who grew up in a small city nearby Antwerp. I study and most of my time live in Ghent, but as my student room is very small, it's not possible for me to accept hosts.

I'm a person who enjoys life, who likes to travel and experience different cultures and who believes every step counts in making this world a better place. It's a pity I can't accept hosts as I love to take care of people and making them feel at home.

From January to July, I'll be living and studying in Bloemfontein, South-Africa, and I would love to explore this beautiful country in a cheap and authentic way.

I love to hear music from all over the world- from Antwerp to Southern-America to Africa.

I prefer to watch French movies, like "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" because they create this special sphere and movies that make you think about yourself and society.

My favorite writer is Khaled Hosseini, according to me "And the mountains echoed" is his best book.
